It's a waste of your time, even if you're only reading it for a laugh. Read something, anything, by Francesca Lia Block instead! :D

Re: Let’s Break Some Dawn

I heard pretty crappy things about the last book. Might pick it up for a laugh...but then again, I don't know if I want to read all 700+ pages just to find out exactly how terrible it is.

Re: Let’s Break Some Dawn

I haven't read The Host, but I have heard that it was much better than Twilight. I'm just so frustrated by Meyer's writing. She doesn't owe me a thing, but I think she owed it to her characters to give them storylines and behaviors that weren't so freakishly out of character or so fucking stupid.

The movie trailer looks pretty, and not much else. I was pretty satisfied with the casting, actually.

Re: Let’s Break Some Dawn

I didn't really hate it, I think it just went in a different direction as to what I had hoped for. I try not to judge the literature too harshly as it apparently falls under a 'teen' book category -_-; The entire imprinting on Renesmee was a little....disturbing and the change in the characters was definitely strange. I think too much time was passing in this volume. Did you hear that Twilight is being made into a film? The stars are ...well.. some were less than desirable for certain characters. Did you read Meyer's other recent book, The Host ?

Re: Let’s Break Some Dawn

Wassup!

I hated it. It was awful, plain and simple. Every single thing that everyone did and said seemed incredibly out of character, and all the sick things that went on made me incredibly uncomfortable. For example, imprinting on an infant? Ew. The author was pushing so much religious bullshit as well, and it infuriated me.

Ugh.

Re: Let’s Break Some Dawn

Wattup Marian!! I have to agree that the books were disappointing after the first one. I have mixed feelings about the last book. What did you think of it?
